  1. Tony Wicher Says:

There cannot possibly be such a thing as a Jewish democracy, any more than there can be an Arab democracy, a Black democracy or a White democracy. There is only one kind of democracy and that is a multicultural democracy, like we have in the United States or France or Canada or Switzerland. The only way there can be peace is for Israelis to modify their objective of a Jewish state in the Holy Land to the objective of a multicultural democracy. The demographic problem of a Jewish state is unlimately insoluble.

Tear down that wall! End aparthied! Repatriate the refugees! Invite Palestinians to become citizens equal to Jews! This can be done. It does not matter if Arabs become the majority. If the negotiations are done right, Jews will still occupy prominent positions in society - just as Afrikaners did after an end to apartheid was negotiated in South Africa. It must be possible for both peoples to see the Holy Land as their home.
